Just in: The biggest predictor of close rate isn't what happens in the showroom, it's whether you make *contact* in the first place.

Metros with higher contact rates in Q1 2026 (e.g. Honolulu at 79%, Des Moines at 78%) consistently saw higher close rates across a 48-metro area (that had 10+ dealerships). Meanwhile, lower contact rate metros like Rochester (47% contact rate) and San Francisco (52%) sit at the bottom of both lists.
