Print 101: The secret behind the "K" in CMYK!

Swipe through to find out why black ink gets a special letter, why your screen colors can trick you, and how we keep your brand colors perfectly accurate every single time.

Designer Tip: Want to ensure your colors look exactly how you intended? Make sure your canvas or export settings are set to CMYK from the start. While our team can handle conversions on original files, flattened PDFs and JPEG images can't be easily fixed once those screen colors shift!

We’re howling with excitement over our latest project! We had the privilege of working with our local friends at Wolf Park to print their brand-new, weather resistant signs.

From majestic wolves and clever foxes to Clementine, the resident eastern box turtle, these signs combine high-resolution animal photography with crisp informational text. It is an honor to help an incredible conservation non-profit make a lasting impression on our community.

Not all file types are created equal when it comes to printing.

PDFs are great for final artwork, but if you have the original design file, sending it along can save time and help ensure the best possible print quality.

Why? Source files give our pre-media designers more flexibility to make adjustments, fix issues, update text, and ensure everything prints exactly as intended.
