I'm sad to say it, but it looks like there's a good possibility that Wolverine Computer Repair and Recycling may have reached it's end. My room and the shop were dismantled this summer to change it to an Agriculture classroom. I was told they would build me IT classrooms in another wing. I helped design our classroom and shop back in 2004/2005, so I was heartbroken. I transferred to another school that is much closer than the 24 miles that I was driving to LHS. We had an amazing 15 years with the shop, and I'm going to miss it. But, most of all, I'll miss my kids, current and graduates who came back to visit regularly and work with the new students. I'm sure they've found replacements to teach the classes, but the shop was not part of the requirements of the class. I worked 6a to 5:30p (and later most days) without extra pay, because I knew my kids were getting so much out of it. I'm thankful to all of our customers who placed their trust in us, and gave my kids opportunities to learn and get real world experience.
