📧 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MWT EMAIL

We’ve been getting questions about Midwest Telnet (MWT) email service, so we want to clear up a few things:

🚨 MWT will NEVER send you an email asking you to “do something” or your email will be discontinued. If you receive a message like this, DO NOT click on anything! It is likely spam or a phishing attempt. Check the sender’s email address — it will be from a bogus or unrelated account.

📬 What about MWT email service ending December 31, 2026?
There is NO need for LaValle Telephone Cooperative customers to be concerned at this time. The contract Vernon Communications has with Midwest Telnet is ending at the end of 2026, but this does NOT affect LTC customers or their MWT email accounts at this time.
At some point in the future, due to increasing costs, the free MWT email service may end, but we will provide information when that time comes.
