We recently gave the Appalachian Youth Service website a fresh new look, creating a clean, modern and easy-to-use site that better reflects the organization and its mission.

The new site puts their work front and center, makes it easier to explore their programs and gives caseworkers, schools, families and job seekers a clear path to the information they need.

We love when a project goes live and we finally get to share the results of weeks of hard work!

Recently, we wrapped up a new website for the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) in Clearfield, PA. Our goal was to create a welcoming, easy-to-use online resource where residents and visitors can find the latest news, upcoming events, revitalization projects and downtown businesses all in one place.

The CRC works hard to bring people downtown through popular community events, support the local economy and complete beautification projects that make Clearfield an even better place to live, work and visit. We were excited to create a website that showcases those efforts and reflects the energy and community spirit found throughout downtown.

Thank you to the CRC for trusting us to bring your vision to life. It was truly a pleasure working with you!

Happy 814 Day!

We call the 814 home, and we get to work with so many of the small businesses and organizations that make this area what it is.

Today is a great excuse to stop by a local shop, grab lunch from your favorite restaurant, leave a good review, or share a small business you love. A little support really does go a long way!

A few of our favorites are Just Love Coffee Cafe- Northern Cambria (because coffee, of course!), Luigi's Ristorante & Catering in Clymer, Pour on Center in Ebensburg, and Meyer Dairy Store in State College. (Plus so many more!)

The Dog Days of Summer have taken over Nerdette Design and we'd like to introduce our four-legged additional staff members!

Willow – Director of Interior Design
If a pillow hasn't been rearranged today, Willow considers the office unfinished. She's always working to make every cozy spot just a little cozier.

Cooper – Director of Employee Engagement
When morale starts to dip (or he simply wants attention), Cooper steps in to make sure everyone takes a well-deserved pet break. He's never met a human who didn't need a little extra love.

Wi******er – Chief Snack Inspector
Every crinkle of a wrapper deserves a full investigation. Wi******er is convinced every snack belongs to him, and he's committed to making sure nothing edible goes unnoticed.

Together, they keep the office running with plenty of laughs, a little (okay, some days A LOT of) chaos, and constant reminders that the best work happens when you enjoy what you do.

We're excited to share one of our newest launches for the Clearfield County Historical Society!

Their new website brings together history, community, and storytelling in a clean, easy-to-navigate experience. Whether you're planning a visit, researching local history, checking out upcoming events, or looking for ways to support the museum, everything is just a few clicks away.

Welcome to Nerdette, Aaralyn!

We're so excited to introduce Aaralyn, the newest member of the Nerdette team!

As our Creative Operations Assistant, Aaralyn will help keep projects organized, support our team, and make sure all the little details come together behind the scenes.

When she's not working, you'll usually find her with a crochet project in hand or baking something delicious (like, super yummy!). Her creativity, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have already made her a wonderful addition to the team.

We're thrilled to have her here and can't wait to see all the great things she'll accomplish.

We finally gave our portfolio section on the website a much-needed update.

You know… that thing where you spend all your time working on everyone else’s websites and never your own? Yeah. That. 🤪

We added some recent projects, refreshed a few older ones, and pulled together a mix of websites, branding, marketing pieces, and creative work we’ve been building lately.

Today is National Notebook Day, which honestly feels very us.

Because before the polished websites, branding, and social posts… there are usually pages full of notes, doodles, random ideas, crossed-out headlines, and “wait… what if we tried this?”

Creative work rarely starts perfectly.

Sometimes it starts with coffee and a notebook.
Sometimes it starts with a zillion tabs open and pure determination.

(We’re definitely guilty of both. 🤫)
