La Grange Optimist Club Spring Soccer is about to begin and we are looking for refs for our games!!

Games begin April 6th. We play Saturday mornings 8:30am & 10am

We are looking for people that love soccer, know the basic rules, and want to help our organization! I will buy the whistles!!

Merriam’s Midway Carnival is returning to Fayette County Fairgrounds for Easter Weekend, March 29 - 31, sponsored by The La Grange Optimist Club and The Fayette County Fair Association. Carnival opens at 5 pm Thursday and Friday and at 1 pm Saturday and Sunday. Free admission. All-you-can-ride armbands $20. Saturday, from 1p - 6p, with a donation of three non-perishable food items to AMEN arm bands are $17.

FOR FACEBOOK USERS
There is a scam attempt going around on Facebook using Facebook Messenger. They will send you a message that you think is from one of your friends. They will tell you about a grant program (promising free money). The link will put you in contact with a screen name of Lawrence Smith and this screen name will try and get identifying information from you. Luckily our reportee did not fall for it.
