Heat & Other Issues



Everyone wants to have their computer running perfectly. A lot of time can be wasted trying to complete a task when your computer is not working properly.

One of the things that can cause computers to start to run erratically and freeze up is too much internal heat. Warm summer weather can aggravate this problem.

The inside of the computer case gets hot, sometimes very hot, and too hot for the computer to operate efficiently. Computers have fans inside. Sometimes these fans fail or run too slowly. They also have vents to exhaust the hot air and either fans or vents can become clogged by pet hair, dust, etc.

There are other things that can keep a computer from operating efficiently. These would include the usual like viruses and spyware.

If your computer is doing unexpected things, there’s a possibility you have a heat problem or a virus.

“I dropped the computer off late on Saturday, and Norm had the problem diagnosed by Sunday morning. I thought that the problem was viruses/malware, but he found that in addition to virus problems, the hard drive itself was failing. I got my computer back in a few days with all of my data intact (it was ready sooner than I was able to pick it up.) I am very happy with the service and felt that the price was fair. He communicated with me after
diagnosing the problem and let me know the approximate cost. The final invoice was quite detailed; it spelled exactly what was done.
