⚫ The Black & White Test
Take away every bit of color. Does your brand still feel recognizable and distinct?

⏱️ The 3-Second Test
Give someone three seconds to look at your branding. What do they remember? Can they tell what you do? Can they recognize you again?

A strong brand shouldn’t need perfect conditions to work.

Color should enhance your identity, not create it. And recognition should happen before someone has time to study it.

We’re super pumped to announce the launch of Lazy M Farms in Corryton, TN!

Lazy M Farms does a little bit of everything. From beef cattle to handcrafted cutting boards, but after a few conversations with the owner, it became clear that the heart and soul of the farm are his Limousin cattle.

Once we established that, turning the “M” into a subtle cow felt like the natural direction. The M already sits at the center of the name, so building the identity around it gave us something simple, recognizable, and unique to Lazy M Farms.

We paired that concept with a classic Western ranch-style typeface to create a brand that feels right at home on the farm and is built to stand the test of time.

What if I rebranded one of the most recognizable pest control companies in America? 🐜

For this concept, I took on Orkin Pest Control.

The goal wasn’t to completely reinvent the company. It was to see how I could take an already recognizable brand and make it feel cleaner, more modern, and more versatile while still feeling like Orkin.

My focus was on three things:

Recognition — keeping the bold red that Orkin already owns.
Clarity — making “Pest Control” immediately obvious.
Consistency — creating a logo that can work just as well on a truck, uniform, hat, or digital screen.

This is purely a creative concept and is not affiliated with Orkin.

The Compass Studio website just got a major upgrade.

Same branding. Same message. Same mission to help great businesses look as good as the work they do. Now with a cleaner, sharper, more professional home for it all.

A huge shoutout to Newtons Tech for taking the Compass brand and bringing it to life in a completely new way online. Joe Newton absolutely crushed the build.
