A Texas teenager was rescued by her father after she was forced into a truck at knifepoint on Christmas Day, police said.

Officers were told that the 15-year-old had taken her dog out for a walk but had not returned. Her father then used parental controls to track her phone's location and find it in a "secluded, partially wooded area" about two miles away.

Very unfortunate that she didn’t know that her child was on 3 social media platforms (at least) and who she was following and communicating with.

Parents must pay attention. Any online game or company is there for the money. Not the safety.

It’s up to parents to monitor devices. Such a sad outcome. I feel so bad for the family.

According to reports, Snapchat will charge users with over 5GB of saved content to keep their Memories. Plans include 100GB for $1.99/month, 250GB with Snapchat+ at $3.99, or 5TB via a $14.99 Platinum plan. Users will have 12 months to download excess content before it’s deleted. Most users under 5GB won’t be affected.
