This is a brand new Ceriatone King Kong. Beautiful craftsmanship, but subpar parts. Very cool amps, but I’d probably pass. Also, working with Nik was not a pleasant experience. The replacements he sent me a link to buy were not only too small to fit in the 35mm cap clamps, but were inferior 85c rated instead of the 105c they should have been. This cost me and my customer time and money. There’s a reason that these are cheaper than they should be, but far too expensive for issues like this.

Next up! Hand-wired 64 Fender Princeton Reverb. One of the most famous studio circuits! In for new tubes and biasing. Out with the old GTs and in with the new Tung-sols. One triode of the phase inverter was dead and both 6v6 output tubes were weak. The new matched Tung-sols biased perfectly matched.
