If you’re a fuzz fan, you might want to check this one out. The Chase Tone ‘68 Red Velvet Fuzz. This one just had an intermittent switch. I initially cleaned it which didn’t work, so I put a new replacement switch in its place. It’s all warm and fuzzy now!

Check out this awesome Marshall JTM 45 MKII! This one just came in for a check up. It has been modded in the past, not by Surgenor Amps. It was all in great shape except for one triode in one of the preamp tubes. Once that was replaced, it sounded great!

This Fryette Power Station PS-2A had a bum capacitor. Once it was replaced, the horrible burning smell was eliminated. Notice the bulge in the top of the cap in the third picture. This is from the cap internally shorting.

Check out this Bogner Metropolis that was having issues with the sc**zo part of the circuit. Notice the print on the circuit board (LOVE ALL SERVE ALL) also. I found two broken leads behind the sc**zo potentiometer. This is likely from the potentiometer coming loose at some point and moving around in the chassis. You can see the breaks in one of the pictures, but it's hard to see unless it's pointed out. All repaired and working great now!

Check out this Sears Silvertone 1485. This one is super clean but didn't power on at all when it first arrived. All electrolytics are now replaced and the tremolo repaired. Also, a new 3 prong power cord installed and the death cap removed. Surprisingly, only 1 of the original tubes was bad. Let me know if you have a classic or modern classic that needs some attention.

This is a brand new Ceriatone King Kong. Beautiful craftsmanship, but subpar parts. Very cool amps, but I’d probably pass. Also, working with Nik was not a pleasant experience. The replacements he sent me a link to buy were not only too small to fit in the 35mm cap clamps, but were inferior 85c rated instead of the 105c they should have been. This cost me and my customer time and money. There’s a reason that these are cheaper than they should be, but far too expensive for issues like this.
