We wish to provide a formal update regarding the status of Farragut FixIT. Contrary to any misconceptions, we want to clarify that we are not permanently closing our operations. In the past, we have achieved considerable success serving both our retail clients and wholesale markets. The decision to temporarily suspend our retail operations stems from two core objectives: firstly, to enhance our focus on expanding our wholesale business, and secondly, to optimize our software infrastructure for the benefit of our employees and customers.
Our primary emphasis in software development is to establish an automated inventory management system, wherein items are seamlessly uploaded as they are received into our system. Additionally, we are working towards enabling direct customer interaction within this software, allowing them to view product photos and schedule pickups, akin to the functionality offered by major retailers such as Walmart. Our overarching goal is to significantly reduce customer response times, streamline communication, and enhance efficiency through automation. This will involve the implementation of techniques like automatic repair updates via SMS, the integration of chatbots, and the utilization of remote workers.
Concurrently, on the retail front, we are dedicated to implementing software solutions that will substantially improve our client relations. Internally, we are developing software tools to assist our staff in tracking their individual workflows, thereby contributing to the delivery of a superior end product for our loyal customers.
