Community Spotlight: Enchanted Pearls Debutante Ball ✨

It was a true honor to attend the 2026 Debutante Presentation and Ball, hosted by the Cultured Pearls of the Secret City Foundation, Incorporated right here in Oak Ridge. The "Enchanted Pearls" theme was the perfect backdrop for such a sophisticated and inspiring evening.

I was especially proud to be there in support of Evaiya Maleia Mitchell. Many of you may not know, but Evaiya’s journey with Designed By Shakeira started quite a while ago! Even at a young age, she was right there volunteering alongside me and working as my assistant to gain professional experience and explore her own career endeavors.

Her drive hasn't slowed down one bit! On top of being a Senior at Oak Ridge High School and a standout Lady Wildcat, she is currently training with another one of my wonderful clients, Nightmare University, for her sports training.

Between her church involvement at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist and her dedication to HOSA, she is truly a force to be reckoned with. She has her sights set on becoming an Anesthesiologist Assistant, and I have no doubt she will reach every goal she sets.

Evaiya, I am so very proud of the woman you are becoming. It has been a joy to watch you grow, and I can't wait to see the impact you continue to make!
