Weā€™re proud to recognize four standout high school athletes who delivered impressive performances on the field this week in partnership with the Sumter Touchdown Club presented by FTC.

Offense
Scottā€™s Branch running back Quintin Jackson finished with 190 all-purpose yards with one touchdown pass, one touchdown run and two touchdown catches in the Eaglesā€™ 43-32 loss to Manning.

Defense
Lee Central defensive back Sinatra Rembert came up big with two interceptions and five tackles in the Stallionsā€™ 8-0 victory over Mullins.

Lineman
Crestwood right guard Ladarius Thompson graded out at 90 percent with five pancake blocks and seven knockdown blocks in the Knightsā€™ 27-0 win over Goose Creek.

Special Teams
Manning High kick returner CJ Robinson returned a kickoff 72 yards for a touchdown to give the Monarchs the lead with 1:30 left in the game in what would eventually be a 43-32 win over Scottā€™s Branch.

Defense
Lakewood High School Athletics cornerback Jamodicus Smith came up big for the Gators with three interceptions, including a pick-six, in their 28ā€“26 win over Andrews.

Lineman
Thomas Sumter Academy tackle Shawn Wrigley graded out at 97% and recorded two knockdown blocks as the Generals rolled to a 44ā€“0 victory over Carolina Academy.

Special Teams
Lee Academy Cavalier Athletics punter Carter Berendzen averaged 32.0 yards across five punts in the Cavaliersā€™ matchup against Colleton Prep.
