FYI, If anyone tries to contact us via an 800 or 877 number found on Google, it's 100% fake! There is an overseas scammer pretending to be us using 877-655-7224. They try to get you to allow them to get access to your computer to steal information! Again, it's not us and it is 100% fake! Our only contact numbers are 704-750-7077 and 704-419-1868.

Just a message to all of our customers, and anyone else of course, who are currently using any of the Kaspersky Internet Security products, The Biden administration & the US Commerce Department announced they will officially ban Kaspersky sales effective July 20th in the USA for all users, home and corporate. On September 29th, any user running a Kaspersky product will no longer receive updates. Due to this decision, we have ceased all sales of Kaspersky effective immediately and are recommending our customers migrate to a different Internet Security Software as soon as practical for continued protection. We will be happy to assist anyone needing to migrate to a different product. We are currently migrating to the Avast line of products ourselves. We will also prorate any of our customers who purchased a Kaspersky product from us that will be affected by this decision by our government. We do not know of any past issues with Kaspersky products and we feel it is still an excellent product, but we understand why the government is doing this due to the current issues with Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kaspersky is produced by a Russian owned company.

An update for informational purposes:
I did some research and while there are no known issues that I have found yet, it has been reported that the Russian-owned company, Kaspersky, has been reported to be in communication with Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) and is responsible for providing them with real-time intelligence and identifying data on customers’ computers. Plus, the domain of the Russian Ministry of Defense is hosted in Kaspersky's infrastructure, and Eugene Kaspersky, the owner of the company, has recently refused to condemn the Russian army's unlawful military actions in Ukraine. So, while it's still a top rated program, the fact that it is Russian owned and some of the actions of the company and it's owner have made it to be preemtively questionable going forward.

Staying safe from tech support scams

When it comes to protecting yourself and loved ones from tech support scams, we have a few recommendations.

First off, you should never download any software onto your computer at the request of an unknown individual that contacted you via text message, email or over the phone. Likewise, you should never allow them to take control of your computer, especially under the guise of helping you fix an issue with it.

You also want to avoid clicking on any pop-ups that appear on websites warning you there’s something wrong with your computer. The same goes for links sent via text messages, social media or email.

Most importantly though, you should never call any phone numbers provided in emails or messages that arrive in your inbox from unknown senders. Cybercriminals like to use your emotions against you by creating a sense of urgency in order to make you more likely to call a phone number they’ve provided.

Tech support scams are one of the oldest tricks in the book and while the scams themselves may not change much, the way in which the cybercriminals behind them steal money from victims can as we’ve seen here. This is why we all need to remain vigilant when checking our email, messages and even when browsing the web.

Should you fall victim to one of these scams, immediately notify your bank or financial institution. If you have allowed the scammers access to your computer, we strongly recommend bringing it in to have it checked for malware or remote access software that can be used to steal additional information from you.

We would like to take this time to say thank you to all of the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, let us remember those who courageously gave their lives. Our flag doesn’t fly because the wind moves it, but because of the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it. We would like to take this time to say thank you to all who have served our Country.
