In this clip, Joe Lawson shares how Greene County Sanitation uses AllMax Mobile to give operators a faster, simpler way to log and access data in the field.

A patchwork of custom Excel spreadsheets, each maintained separately, with no easy way to get everyone on the same page. That was the reality for Greene County Sanitary Engineering, until they switched to AllMax Software.

For water and wastewater operators like Greg Wilson, fast trend visualization isn't a nice-to-have. It's how you spot issues before they become problems, make informed decisions under pressure, and keep systems running safely.

This is what two days of real training looks like.
Operators from across the country came to Chicago, got hands-on with Operator10, and left with skills they could use the very next day. The questions were great, the energy was better, and the one-on-one time with the AllMax team made all the difference.
Thank you to everyone who attended!

Your facility has seasonal permit limits. Winter ammonia limit: 5 mg/L. Summer ammonia limit: 2 mg/L.

You've created two NetDMR reports: Winter DMR (November-April), Summer DMR (May-October).

But every month you have to: open Operator10, navigate to Reports, scroll through 40+ reports, think "Is April winter or summer limits?" and select the correct report.

You've run the wrong report three times this year, submitting winter limits in summer months. The state sends correction requests. You look incompetent.

Report sets and desktop shortcuts eliminate this confusion.

Create two report sets: "Winter Months DMR" (includes Winter DMR report), "Summer Months DMR" (includes Summer DMR report).

Create desktop shortcuts for each: drag from Operator10 dashboard, select report set, label clearly "Winter DMR (Nov-Apr)" and "Summer DMR (May-Oct)."

Put both icons on your desktop. Every month, double-click the appropriate icon based on current month. Operator10 opens directly to the correct report. No navigation. No menu hunting. No wrong report risk.

This also works for facilities with multiple outfalls (separate shortcuts per discharge point) or quarterly reports (separate shortcuts for Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4).

Organization prevents errors. Clear labels prevent confusion. Shortcuts save time.

One click opens the right report. Every time.

You've set up NetDMR in Operator10. Codes are correct. Data is complete. Limits are entered.

You generate the NetDMR report. It looks perfect on screen.

But how do you submit it to the state? You can't copy-paste from Operator10 into the state portal. You can't retype 50+ values (that defeats the purpose of electronic reporting).

Export NetDMR files creates electronic submission files.

After generating your NetDMR report in Operator10, click Export. Operator10 creates a text file containing all your data formatted exactly how the state's NetDMR portal expects it.

The file includes: Permit number, discharge number, parameter codes, monitoring location codes, date, all your values, unit codes, frequency codes, sample type codes, exceedance flags.

It's not human-readable—rows of comma-separated codes and numbers. But the state's system reads it perfectly.

Upload this file to your state NetDMR portal. The portal reads the file, validates all codes, and populates your DMR form automatically. All 50+ values appear in correct fields in 15 seconds.

Compare to manual entry: 90 minutes of typing, high error rate, miserable experience.

Export NetDMR files transforms DMR submission from tedious data entry to simple file upload.

One click exports. One file uploads. Done.

It's March 31st. Time to submit your monthly DMR. You open Operator10 and generate the NetDMR report.

Upload it to the state portal. Wait for validation. Two hours later: "Your BOD data is incomplete—missing values for March 12, 13, and 14."

You check Operator10. Sure enough, those three days are blank. Lab never entered the results. Now you're scrambling to find paper bench sheets, enter missing data, regenerate the report, and resubmit.

All because you didn't verify data completeness before generating the report.

NetDMR DataView in Operator10 prevents this.

Create a DataView containing only your DMR parameters: Flow, BOD, TSS, NH3, pH, F***l Coliform—whatever your permit requires. Add summary calculations (average, max, min) matching DMR requirements.

Before generating the NetDMR report, open this DataView set to the reporting month. Scan for blank cells. All data present? Good. Any blanks? Fix them before proceeding.

This 5-minute pre-check prevents hours of resubmission work. It catches: missing lab data, forgotten weekend readings, instruments that stopped logging, parameters nobody thought to test.

The NetDMR DataView is your quality gate. Don't generate reports until you pass through it.

Verify first. Submit second. Never resubmit.
