Niagara Takes Flight is Ontario's first flying-theatre attraction located inside Table Rock Centre in Niagara Falls, Canada. The experience combines aerial drone cinematography, motion simulation, and cultural interpretation, offering a new way for visitors to engage with the natural wonder of Niagara Falls and its heritage. Mulvey & Banani Lighting, a specialist lighting design consultancy, developed and integrated a dynamic lighting system—featuring Rosco X-Effects LED HO RGBW projectors—to enhance the immersive storytelling throughout the space. Sennheiser has announced the end of life of the remaining evolution wireless G4 sets and components, scheduled for December 31st, 2025.

These include EW G4 500/500P sets and components as well as residual G4 components of EW G4/100/100P series.

ETC announces Windows 10 Console Upgrade Program

To allow several types of consoles and devices to extend the time they can receive new software updates, ETC is offering a program to upgrade Windows 7 Embedded devices to Windows 10 Embedded. To see which devices qualify and for information about the program, please reference our Knowledge Base article. Pricing for Windows 10 Upgrades is $4260, including return shipping.

Around the third quarter of 2027, ETC anticipates the release of the first version of Eos Family software which will not install on consoles and devices running the Windows 7 Embedded operating environment (What Version of Windows is my Console Running?). We continue to see our development tools shift away from Windows 7, and we are having increasing difficulties compiling software and supporting drivers for Windows 7 Embedded systems.

Windows 7-based consoles will, of course, continue to function – but no new features will be added. ETC will continue to release fixture library updates for Windows 7 based consoles, and repairs will be available for as long as possible. As we continue software releases, we will communicate which devices are supported, with ample warning on which software version will deprecate Windows 7 support.

ETC will run the Windows 10 console upgrade program for two years after this announcement, into the middle of 2027. We are sending this advisory as early as possible, so budgets can be put in place for upgrades or replacements as needed. As many of you know, we offer a modest trade-in value on ETC incandescent fixtures towards the purchase of ETC LED fixtures.

We have been very busy this past year, and find ourselves with a plethora of ETC Source 4 incandescent ERS fixture bodies, ETC Source 4 PARs and ETC Source 4 ERS Lamp Burner Assemblies.

Whatever lamp and plug came with the trade-in is included, however, clamps and safety cables are not.

PARs come with one lens, which you may request depending on availability, however, ERS fixture bodies do not include a lens, however, we can offer options on new and in some cases used ERS lenses.

All used fixtures and Source 4 ERS Lamp Burner Assemblies are inspected and come with a 30 day warranty against issues existing at time of purchase.

Pick-up in Kansas City, or available for shipping to anywhere within the contiguous 48 States.

As you are contemplating winding down your current fiscal year, and considering how to best spend the remainder of your annual budget, may I suggest that now might be a good time to procure theatrical lamps.

On 4/1/25, we had a 6% increase in HPL lamp cost. Other theatrical lamps have increased a similar percentage. For those who act quickly, I still have some stock that I can sell based off the old price.

Here's the kicker, I have been recently informed to expect another price increase on 5/1/25, and yet another on 6/1/25.

HPLs and many other theatrical lamps are manufactured in Mexico, and will be subject to proposed tariffs.
