SHIRT PRINTING 101: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!

Believe it or not, some business owners who sell custom shirts don't fully understand the difference between printing methods either! Let's educate both the customer AND the creator!

● DTF (Direct to Film): Your design is printed onto a special film and heat-pressed onto the garment. Great for vibrant colors, detailed designs, and various fabric types.

● DTG (Direct to Garment): Ink is printed directly onto the fabric, similar to how a printer prints on paper. Ideal for detailed artwork and photographs, especially on cotton garments.

● SCREENPRINT: Ink is pushed through a mesh screen directly onto the garment. Known for durability and cost-effectiveness on larger orders with the same design.

● SCREENPRINT TRANSFERS: Designs are screen-printed onto special transfer paper and then heat-pressed onto garments. Unlike DTF, these transfers use traditional screen-printing inks and techniques.

WHAT DOES KLUXE OFFER?

✅ DTF Printing

✅ DTG Printing

✅ Screenprint Transfers

❌ Traditional Screenprinting (not offered at this time)

Pricing varies by printing style, design requirements, and order quantity.

Remember: Just because two shirts look alike doesn't mean they were created using the same process! Understanding the difference helps you make informed purchasing decisions.

At KLuxe, we're not just selling custom apparel. We're educating our customers along the way! 🫶🏿
