Access permissions and cybersecurity mistakes can create major risks for a business.

Some days in IT are less “solving problems” and more “which problem do I panic about first?” 😂

Our engineers are out here keeping everything running while the tickets, alerts, password resets, printer issues, and “URGENT” requests keep coming.

Just another day in IT. 🔥💻

🚨 Got an Apple Threat Notification? Don't Ignore It, But Don't Panic.

Apple is warning some iPhone users that they may have been specifically targeted by highly sophisticated spyware. These attacks are rare, but the notifications are considered high-confidence warnings and should be taken seriously.

For the average iPhone user, here's what matters:

🔎 Want to know if the alert is real? Don't click links in an email or message. Go directly to Apple's account website and sign in. A legitimate threat notification will appear there.

📱 Check your iPhone. A real Apple Threat Notification can appear on your Lock Screen and in Settings.

⚠️ Apple won't ask you to click a link, install an app, open a file, or provide your password or verification code to "fix" the problem.

🔐 If you receive a legitimate warning: Follow Apple's recommended security steps, including enabling Lockdown Mode and making sure your devices are fully updated.

The good news? The vast majority of people will never be targeted by this type of spyware. But knowing how to recognize a real security warning can help you avoid falling for a fake one.

🚨 Cyberattacks aren't just targeting technology. They're targeting people.

A new wave of attacks against major hedge funds shows how effective social engineering and impersonation can be, even against organizations with significant cybersecurity resources. Attackers are using phone calls, fake websites, and stolen credentials to get around traditional defenses.

The lesson for every business: your employees are part of your security perimeter.

✈️ Traveling for work? Think twice before connecting to public Wi-Fi.

Cybercriminals are targeting hotel and conference Wi-Fi networks with DNS poisoning attacks that can silently redirect users to fake Microsoft 365 login pages and steal business credentials without a phishing email ever being sent.

If your team travels, now is the time to review your security policies. Using a VPN, enabling MFA, and training employees to verify login pages can make all the difference.
