Joplin's story isn't finished... It's still being written by the all the people who live, work, and choose to show up for this community every single day.

I had the privilege of being part of the Leadership Joplin Class of 2026.

When I first joined I didn't fully realize what I was walking into.

But what I found was a group of people who genuinely care.

Real people who honor where this city has been, who are fully engaged in where it is right now, and who are consistently doing the work to shape where it's going.

Our class project became "Joplin's Story Project"...

A community-driven effort to shine a light on the history most people have never heard, even if they've lived here their whole lives.

How two rival towns forced to become one...

A world-famous mural on a downtown wall...

An apartment where Bonnie and Clyde made their last mistake...

Aviation pioneers who were leaving the ground before the world knew it was even possible...

These local stories deserve to be told, remembered, and passed on. Thats why it became the "Joplin Story Project".

This city of Joplin has given so much to so many. This was our small way of giving something back.

SOLO LINK IO was honored to build the website and to be a contributing sponsor towards the downtown monument sign.

But this project belongs to the people of Joplin.

Past, present, and future...

How To Win Disputes 🎯🙌🏻

One of the most stressful things that can happen to a small business owner:

A customer disputes a charge with their bank.

Then, the money you earned is frozen! :(

You now have a limited window to respond.

And... if you don't have documentation, you lose even if you did everything right (provided the service / product).

This happens more than people talk about. Has it ever happned to you?

For small businesses without a system, it's often a loss before the fight even starts...

Thats why it's important to have terms and condition checkboxes during online checkout or noted details on invoices that are paid.

Agreements that are signed off on won't hurt as well. These help create accountability for both parties (you and them).

Getting paid is hard enough. Defending what you earned shouldn't have to be also.

This dispute took us almost 4 months to recover funds from...

It's not a huge amount, but it is the pricnciple of the matter. We provided the services and work and deserved to be paid.
