PC upgrade & refresh!

Had a client contact us who was looking to upgrade their PC and change things up a bit. BURC PC Solutions LLC is happy to help!

They went with a Motherboard & CPU upgrade, among other upgrades as well. They went with a back connector MSI Z790 Project Zero Motherboard which moves all of the connectors to the rear side of the Motherboard, cleaning things up tremendously.

We also did a Case swap from the Hyte y70 touch to the MSI PANO 100r PZ, and CPU cooler swap to a premium Noctua Air Cooler. Which is keeping the i9-14900KS below 70°c under 100% load and 35°c-40°c while idle.

Lastly we replaced the 1TB SATA boot & storage drive with a 500GB NVME boot drive and 2TB NVME storage drive. From now on if something goes wrong and Windows needs to be reinstalled, the client doesn’t have to worry about losing all their other data as it’s stored on a separate drive. Also, the NVME drives are much faster than the old SATA drive. Making this upgrade doubly useful!

PC Service!

Had a client reach out to me looking to get their PC serviced. When they drop the PC off, it wouldn’t boot into Windows. We quickly identified the issue as incompatible RAM and removed the RAM sticks in question. We advised the client about purchasing a replacement kit.

Once we had the PC running again, we did a whole bunch of software updates. Updated the BIOS on the motherboard that was from 2020 to 2026. Updated Windows to Windows 11, as well as all of the drivers.

Then we gave the PC a good cleaning and managed the cables much better. Unfortunately the case has some staining we were unable to remove. As well as some really caked on gunk on the feet that would have required a more deep cleaning than what the client wanted as they are considering upgrading the case in the near future.

Custom PC Build!

PC cleaning & upgrade!

We had a previous client reach out for a cleaning & upgrade the Motherboard, CPU, & CPU cooler.

Take a look at these before & after photos!

We took all the fans out of the PC and cleaned them thoroughly. We also blew out the dust from the case and graphics card.

Installed the new Motherboard, CPU, & CPU Watercooler.

Did a fresh install of Windows with all updates and drivers.

Optimized settings for better performance.

Then stress tested the PC at 100% load to make sure everything was working as it should be.

We even re-cable managed a bit to keep the PC looking neat and tidy.

This PC is now in tip-top shape!

Had a new client who wanted a PC to use for a Golf Simulator. We looked over the software requirements for the simulator program with the client and then talked about options for the hardware in the PC. Once we had the parts locked in, we got to work!

Installed Windows ✅

TROUBLESHOOTING POST!

This error has been popping up extremely frequently since the last Windows 11 update. This is an issue with Microsoft, not your PC. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is “working on a fix”.

In the mean time, if you’re getting this error and cannot boot into your PC follow these steps:

1: Shut the PC down
2: Unplug the power cable
3: Press the power button on your case 5-10x
4: Leave unplugged for 10 minutes
5: Plug the power cable back in and power on the PC

Repeat steps if the error comes up again.

Hopefully this information helps a few of you out until Microsoft fixes the issue.

PC upgrade!

A previous client reached out to us looking to have their motherboard & CPU upgraded. They had already acquired the hardware so we just needed to do the swap. BURC PC was happy to help!
