Pretty Place Chapel needs your help โผ๏ธ We took a trip only to realize that we can advocate for others that this Amazing Space needs your donations. It isn't fully equipped with full use of handicap access. It has a small location to allow access to the front door entrance, once you're there you will require assistance to get down the steps of the chapels ground level interior. They do have information outside as they are non profit and are in need to create an interior ramp for handicap use. This place is absolutely stunning and deserves to have adequate accessibility for the entire public. Let's make a difference โผ๏ธ Let's help with donations please. If you see this post...... Make your donations in honor of the reason I ask for your donations in honor is because my nephew inspired our trip. It's been in conversation for many years. DeAndre called me and asked Aunt Tina, do you want to go to pretty place? Absolutely was my answer โผ๏ธ He is unstoppable, he is an amazing young man and transitioning to opening himself in the General Public in the beginning of his New Life with changes were a transition that challenged him mentally and physically. He's definitely unstoppable โผ๏ธ Clearly he's just as amazing as the space that we were in. I'm not sure what it's going to require in order to have a ramp accessible to the interior of this Chapel. However, I spoke with Staff minimal yesterday and they told me that they were working on it. There were no complaints from us. The limited access that they had at least gave us the ability to enter the chapel at the very front entrance. The challenge afterwards was bringing him from the top to the ground level down the stairs and then the ultimate challenge coming back up. This in itself was simply sweet as in his position the challenge for him previous years he simply would not have tried. Today DeAndre unstoppable absolutely is swallowing a lot of pride and allowing others to help him to reach his desires. With that being said, I ask that you would make a donation and in the honor of "DeAndre unstoppable" we can simply follow pretty place and see what transpires from your donations. DeAndre wants to go back already for another trip and watch the sunset. He will return โผ๏ธI believe that if we could possibly make the attempt to help with the current situation of something so blessed, stunning and absolutely gorgeous to allow the access for everyone and anyone with all needs. The challenge is if you're entering this current Chapel and you don't have others to help you if you're in need of assistance using a wheelchair, cane, walker or simply have an injury that limits your ability to walk up and down the staircase you're restricted to entrance only.
Let's share this โผ๏ธ๐๐๐๐ If you have access to provide a donation ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ for the much-needed small additions for accessibilityโฟ for those that are restricted with limitations. Please make your donations whether you make them privately or if you make them an honor of DeAndre it's much appreciated. This will help those that are in wheelchairs, cane walking, walker access, or limited-restricted with smaller mobility issues. I can honestly say this was even a challenge for myself as I have an injury to my knee and up and down within the location to view and access every opportunity to share with your family could be less of a challenge and small additions made to allow multiple uses.
My father is limited with long distance walking and he uses a scooter to get around. He wasn't on this trip, however in the future I think that it would be nice to be able to have him and others that use mobility scooters or wheelchairs the access to enjoy and experience such a stunning location. We can make this easier with your help. This will not keep DeAndre from returning. However, he knows what is there and the challenges that he faces so he'll have to have someone with him. This is a message for every other person as I simply ask you to consider all the challenges that face individuals that may keep them from being able to visit. This place is truly the most stunning and the experience of an open Church on the side of mountain that provides the most stunning sunrise and I'm sure the same as far as the sunset. God's truly amazing to build the earth ๐ in seven days. Man can allow individuals access to such a phenomenal location.
