Today, we honor Juneteenth.
This holiday commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This day is a powerful reminder that freedom, equity, and justice must be continually protected and advanced, not just remembered.
At Brooks Litho & Digital Group, we believe stories of resilience and progress deserve to be seen, heard, and preserved: in print, in communities, and across every channel where people connect.
We remain committed to using our craft to help amplify voices that move us toward a more inclusive future.
Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth filled with reflection, learning, and action.
