We were honored to be part of “Innovation Social: Reflections on Loss, Hope, and Renewal” at the The Music Center: Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles This gathering served as a site of collective recovery for Altadena, the Palisades, and Eaton Canyon following the devastating 2025 LA fire season.
We showcased immersive 3D content from the “Out of the Ashes” VR documentary, a project by Nonny de la Pena and Rory Mitchell through . Using Looking Glass Factory displays and hand-tracking technology, we moved these visceral stories into a group-viewable space where visitors could “touch” digital fragments of homes and cherished memories from across the affected regions.
The video below captures the atmosphere of the night, including the moving chants of “Altadena” and songs of hope as we joined our voices in song to honor our community's resilience 🎶. Our mission is to establish immersive technology as the standard for historical preservation, ensuring our collective history is preserved in its most visceral form.
