Halo-halo, also spelled haluhalo, Tagalog for “mixed”, is a popular cold dessert in the Philippines made up of crushed ice, evaporated milk or coconut milk, and various ingredients including side dishes such as ube jam (ube halaya), sweetened kidney beans or garbanzo beans, coconut strips, sago, gulaman (agar), pinipig, boiled taro or soft yams in cubes, flan, slices or portions of fruit preserves and other root crop preserves. The dessert is topped with a scoop of ube ice cream. It is usually prepared in a tall clear glass and served with a long spoon.[1] Halo-halo is considered to be the unofficial national dessert of the Philippines.
Last drawing for Filipino-American History Month and Halloween. Had a blast doing this piece. Obviously, the real Halo-Halo does not look anything like this. 😂 🎃

Tiyanak - (also tianak or tianac[1] Tagalog: [ˈtjɐnɐk]) is a vampiric creature in Philippine mythology that takes on the form of a toddler or baby. Although there are various types, it typically takes the form of a newborn baby and cries in the jungle to attract unwary travelers. Once it is picked up by an unfortunate passerby, it reverts to its true form and attacks the victim.[2]
Fahm and Halloween. More later. 🎃

Fish balls - fish balls are a popular street food in the Philippines made from fish paste that’s deep-fried or boiled until golden brown.

One of my entries for Filipino-American History Month. Bringing Filipino culture to everyone.

See you this Sunday at the DTR Art Walk in Redlands! I will be joining them for the first time and checking out the local art scene. There will be local bands, a car show, trunk or treat, and a costume contest! Kids Cures Foundation will be there if you guys would like to donate for a cause.

I hope to see some of you local (Riverside and SB county) friends there, if you guys are free. It’s gonna be from 12NN to 4pm. See you there!
