It Enters Hours Later
Real RockPay alerts enter in SECONDS. If the customer has left your shop and you get an alert 10 minutes later, it's FAKE.
Pro Tip: Never release goods until you see it INSTANTLY.

Your Balance Doesn't Add Up
The SMS says ₦50,000 credited, but your available balance is still the same.
Pro Tip: Always check your AVAILABLE BALANCE inside your RockPay app, not just the SMS.

The Sender ID Looks Strange
Real bank alerts come with a NAME like "RockPay" or "GTBank". Fake ones come from a personal 11-digit number like 0803...
If it's from a phone number, RUN.

Bad Grammar & Strange Links
Scammers rush. Look for typos, "Ur account has been credited" or a link that says "click here to confirm".
Pro Tip: NEVER click any link inside an alert. Real banks never do that.
SIGN 5
No In-App Confirmation
This is the FINAL check.
Open your RockPay App > Go to Transaction History.
If you don't see it there, it's NOT real money. No matter what SMS you got.
Stay Safe. Download RockPay for instant, secure alerts.
