Another busy day 🔧💥

Days ago, we were met with a real-life printing nightmare: The Dreaded Hot End Blob! 😱 (Check out the carnage in the first few photos!)

This 3D printer came to us after a serious malfunction. The filament had melted and encrusted the entire hotend, even damaging the cables. While we couldn't save the old hotend, we were able to carefully clear all the filament from the delicate PCB board.

Once the new hotend arrived today, we got it installed in a flash. Then, it was time for a test print! (The final pic shows the new hotend, clean as a whistle and ready to rock!) We're happy to report everything is working as expected and this printer is back in action. 🥳

Right after that, a customer brought in two Samsung Galaxy S23s that were struggling to hold a charge.

🔋 Not a problem! A quick and easy battery swap, and now they're back to feeling brand new and ready for more adventures. 📱✈️

Another day, another set of happy customers! Need a hand with your tech? Come see us!

🚨 PS5 Thermal Rescue! 🚨

A customer brought in their PS5 (CFI-2015) requesting a deep cleaning and liquid metal re-application. Once we opened it up, the photos spoke for themselves!

Not only was there a heavy buildup of dust, debris, and animal fur clogging up the internal fan and heatsink fins, but when we exposed the APU, we saw that the liquid metal was severely lacking, leaving multiple bare, dry spots on the chip surface. Dry spots like this create major hot spots, causing performance throttling, loud fan noise, and sudden thermal shutdowns!

What we completed:

✅ Complete internal teardown & deep cleaning

✅ Cleared out all trapped dust & pet fur from the fan blades and heatsink channels

✅ Removed oxidation and evenly redistributed/reapplied fresh liquid metal across the APU

✅ Fully reassembled & stress-tested; now running cool and whisper-quiet! 🎮✨

Is your console sounding like a jet engine or shutting down unexpectedly? Bring it in for a professional thermal refresh!

📍 Stop by our shop or send us a message today for a quote!
