A note from our founder, Jessica:
A year ago, I wouldn’t have expected to call myself an entrepreneur. It hadn’t crossed my mind. But in the joyful whirlwind of starting Clouds Cove Cookies, I discovered how much I love building a business.
If you know me, maybe that makes sense. I’ve always loved making plans, figuring out how things fit together, tackling problems without easy answers, and just getting stuff done. Clouds Cove gave me a place to see how those qualities could become something bigger, while staying rooted in fun, creativity, and community. I feel so fortunate to have found work that brings those parts of me together.
Rareform began with a problem I ran into as a baker: I couldn’t find the kind of ingredient I wanted to create with. I saw a real need for ingredients that help bakers and treat makers create distinctive flavors without developing every component from scratch. That idea became a passion project, and then a vision for a brand I can’t wait to build.
Rareform is launching with creative ingredients that bring more flavor and possibility to what you make. Whether you’re just finding your way in the kitchen or you’ve been making treats for years, I’m building this for you. I want Rareform to be a place where what one maker creates inspires another to try something new.
