I’m honored to get to do another graphic for the skid row running club. The run club was started 15 years ago by Judge Craig Mitchel and a freshly released convict. They met early in the morning in front of the Midnight Mission (a rehab in skidrow) and logged miles. It has grown into a movement full of doctors, nurses, firefighters, criminals, and homeless. Each year the members of the club run marathons ranging from locations like Paris to the Galapagos. The people in treatment at the Mission go as well, not just the successful.
Chris Koppi has seen so many lives transformed and it’s always inspiring to talk to him about the club. Thanks Chris, I will be out there soon.

Sometimes the AI file is impossible to print. I got sent the AI reference image and the tangler guys really liked it. They wanted to keep a lot of things the same, except add the beloved pup in the foreground, and more rods on the mothership.
I spent probably 20-30 hours on this, packing a lot of detail with soft round brushes into the outboards.
It took a long time on my end but it was nice to use different brushes and not be limited to color restraints because the art was going to be printed using direct to film.

Happy 30th birthday Madison Sekas ~ Villa Cassia
I didn’t know it was possible to truly love someone when we first got together in 2021. I doubted something like our relationship could exist. You are so sweet, beautiful, but also a warrior. The good, monotonous, and terrible times have taught us so much. We’ve been tested and put through so much adversity. I can’t say I’m glad that it happened. I will say that your character, and endurance along side me kept me alive. I remember our old pastor saying some couples get together, and some are made for each other. I felt like we were the latter, but having emerged through the fire I know it as truth. I love you, happy birthday!

Life over the last few months. Some wins, and some Ls.
My youngest brother got married. I got sinus surgery and a few dental implants. Tweaked my leg. Harvest crusade was great. Shared some hope at church. Worked out. Tesla driver side swiped maddys car.

I sent Fletcher over some branding projects that I have done over the years, and the mark for the Seal Beach Fish Co. and Primetime Sportfishing stood out to him.

I came up with a total of 3 different JMG monograms, and this was the winner.

Logo by itself, with the wordmark, and a few variations of badges.

Option 3 (colored, detail) for Research Vessel Kiyi. They fish Lake Superior and document changes in the variability of numbers and species in the Lake.
Please note, the client has NOT seen the Loch Ness monster.

Option 1 (single color) for the same vessel. Having art options for the crew is important. Especially when looking for Nessy.

The Kiyi is a freshwater whitefish. It’s a deep water Cisco and only lives in Lake Superior.
