May was a crazy busy month—in the very best way. 🤍

We celebrated Mother’s Day, Maelyn’s Kindergarten graduation, and Tony’s birthday all in the same month!

We squeezed in a quick weekend trip to the Omaha Zoo and the Luminarium, which was such a fun change of pace. Maelyn wrapped up her second season of T-ball and was pretty sad to see it come to an end. Micah and Kohen both kicked off their baseball seasons, so most of our evenings are now spent at the ball diamonds—and honestly, none of us are complaining. 😉

Kamden turned 6 months old and started trying some foods (although he’s still not totally convinced they’re better than milk 😂). And just like that, another school year came to a close with Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 5th grade officially in the books.

To top it all off, Micah got to enjoy Fishing Day through Summer Rec with Uncle Taylor. So many sweet memories packed into one month, and we’re ready to see what summer brings! ☀️

Maternity Mini Sessions typically take place in my studio in Hull, Iowa, with outdoor session options available during the summer months. I recommend booking between 28–36 weeks for the sweetest timing.

There is something so sacred about motherhood. The way a mother loves, comforts, serves, and pours herself out day after day.

As a photographer, it’s such an honor to witness and capture these moments — the soft embraces, the laughter, the chaos, the tenderness… love in the purest form 🤍

To every mother in every season: thank you for the countless unseen ways you love your family so faithfully. You are deeply appreciated, and the work you do matters for eternity.

Babies tend to come on their own time, not sure how to schedule a newborn session? ⁣

⁣👉🏻 First, you’ll reach out to me through the contact form on my website. I’ll send over all the information about newborn sessions and confirm whether I still have availability for your due date.

👉🏻 Once you decide you’d like to book, I’ll send over a proposal which includes a contract + invoice for the 50% retainer. Once that is completed and paid, you’re officially booked! I’ll pencil in your due date on my calendar!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

👉🏻 After baby arrives, you’ll reach out within a day or two to let me know and schedule your session. I’ll send over 2-3 options of weekdays in the next week or two for your morning session.

👉🏻 Once you choose your session date, I’ll send you a confirmation email which includes a questionnaire for your baby’s details and your session preferences as well as my prep guide. This has all the details on how to prepare for your session to ensure baby stays nice and sleepy!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

👉🏻 After the session, you’ll receive your online gallery of images within 1-2 weeks!

We kicked off April celebrating Easter while the entire house got taken out by Influenza B. In between recovering, we squeezed in all the things—watching the Artemis launch, baseball camp for Micah + Kohen, basketball camp for Maelyn, and freezing on the sidelines at soccer with Auntie coaching!

We soaked up lots of family time, cheered on Micah at his band/choir concert, and I got to tag along with Kohen for a circus field trip! Tony and I even snuck in a much-needed date night—laughing way too hard ! 🤎

It was a crazy busy month, but it’s only just beginning!
