The new custom Showit website for New Jersey family, maternity and newborn photographer Rosalie Marie Photography is officially live!

Rosalie wanted her new online home to feel the same way her photographs do—warm, honest, personal and rooted in connection rather than perfection.

As a website designer for photographers, my goal wasn’t simply to create a beautiful website. We created a photography-led experience that reflects Rosalie’s approach, makes her services easier to understand and gives families a clear, comfortable path to reaching out.

Throughout the project, we brought together her words, photographs, client experience and the different ways she supports both families and fellow photographers.

Her approach is gentle and deeply personal. She gives people space to relax in front of the camera and understands that the photographs we treasure most often come from the imperfect, ordinary moments happening in between.

The final website brings that experience forward through family, maternity and newborn photography, thoughtful guidance for clients who may feel nervous in front of the camera, and photography mentorship supporting both the artist and the business behind the work.

Visually, we gave her photography room to speak through warm cream tones, intentional forest-green details, personal storytelling and a softer editorial flow.

Rosalie, thank you for trusting me with such an important part of your business. It has been so special watching your ideas, photographs and heart come together in an online space that truly feels like you. 🤍

Hot take: Pixieset is actually a great place to start.

I’ll be the first to say it—
it’s clean, it’s simple, and it works really well for galleries, invoices, and contracts.

In the beginning? It makes sense.

But eventually… things shift.😳

You start booking more, your work gets stronger, your brand evolves.

And your website starts to feel like it’s not keeping up.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong—
but because it was never built to be a full website platform in the first place.
