Why You Should Keep Your Computer Clean! 💻🧼

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a good week! I just wanted to teach everyone a tip for keeping your computer running smoothly. Our client at Onyx Computer Repair called us saying their computer fans were extremely loud and their computer was running slow.

I opened up the computer and found everything caked in dust which explained why it was running extremely hot. I cleaned his computer out fully with pressurized air and wiped down the case with alcohol. I attached some before and after photos.

After it was fully cleaned, it ran like he just bought it. Every issue he has was fixed by one simple cleaning job. I urge everyone to keep your machines clean because dust build-up can seriously affect the performance of your computer. ‼️

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR COMPUTER:

Use pressurized air to blow all of the dust out of the hard-to-reach places in your computer.
Open the case with a screwdriver and blow any internal dust out of the parts.
Use a microfiber towel with alcohol to clean the case off and use a glass cleaning spray and a paper towel for any glass pieces on the case.
Make sure you don't use any liquid on the internals, if any liquid gets inside while cleaning, don't worry! Wipe any residue off of the parts with a microfiber towel and do not turn on the machine until it dries out.

If you do this once every month your machine will be able to breathe! or you can contact us to do it for you!
