My full time work at the moment is in the space industry. And it’s truly inspiring me; not only have I been creating as a contractor year round, but we were wanted to make a mission patch for our team. I am in love with this first design, it’s the last one I fully fleshed out. It shows a lock stitch weaving between celestial bodies. Telling the story of how the product of our stitching will be utilized here on Earth, then aboard the ISS, then on our return to Moon, and one day on Mars, and perhaps beyond! The next design is of the rocket launching off of the company’s modern glove design. Finally I married a common sewing tool, the bobbin, with the phases of the moon surrounded by the titles of our team and flags representing the diversity of our team at this moment. Impossible to choose only one, I know, but which design do you prefer?
