The proposed FCC mapping legislation (S.2585 MAP for Broadband Funding Act) sends a clear message: engineering teams can't afford to slow down. 🌐

As projects move forward, the industry will need better ways to manage data, streamline workflows, and keep projects on track.

Fiber is the future. But legacy networks didn't disappear overnight. 🌐

Many established broadband providers, particularly across rural service areas, are still operating a mix of network technologies. Jason Malmquist explains why that matters operationally.

Modernizing the network doesn't happen all at once. Providers still need to provision services, manage customers, and run day-to-day operations across the infrastructure they have today, while continuing to build for what comes next.
That makes the systems behind the network increasingly important.
