Dylan Moore Marketing Design

Dylan Moore Marketing Design Thought, Principle, Image. "A congruity of thought and principle, united in a coherent image."

Since 1997, DMMD has been building successful, lasting relationships with a variety of clients, large and small – from energy, technology and manufacturing to B2B, retail, entertainment, service and non-profit. This quote by graphic design pioneer Herbert Bayer is the standard to which every project undertaken at Dylan Moore Marketing Design is held. Put simply it means that every decision in the

design process must have a clear and distinct purpose, in keeping with the primary goal or goals of the client. Whether it is an annual report, corporate identity, capabilities brochure, web site, advertisement or any other form of creative communication, thorough attention to every detail ensures that each project will completely fulfill the unique needs of the client. Visit our website at http://www.DMMDesign.com site to discover how this approach has consistently achieved powerful, successful, often award-winning results for a variety of clients. Then contact Dylan Moore Marketing Design to learn first hand how we can apply this kind of creativity, experience and ability to your message.

Can't believe it, but it was exactly 16 years ago today that DMMD announced we were moving from our cozy bungalow studio in the Heights to a little more expansive and professional digs. Since then our team and our capabilities have grown and evolved, and as a matter of necessity so has the space where we create and collaborate.

Here's a photo tour of DMMD's home for the past 16 years and the foreseeable future. It's a fun, functional, and flexible space, filled with art and inspiration - from cherished mid-century design and furnishings to works by some of our favorite current artists like Jeff Stark Photography, Carlos Hernandez Prints and Jeffie Brewer - and of course a nod to our hometown teams.

We'd love to have you drop in and see it for yourself sometime. Just let us know when to expect you!

Don't know why it never occurred to me to capture this shot before, but last week it hit me.

Here's our handsome and (slightly overly at the time) furry good boy Archer!, sitting on one of the older, but possibly most recognizable identities I've created over the past 30+ years - this one developed for the great folks at Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital way back in 2014.

If you live in the Oak Forest/Garden Oaks area you've probably seen it right there on 34th between Oak Forest and TC Jester.

And just for kicks, here are the 4 initial logo concepts we presented them with. We thought they were all appropriate in their own unique directions, and are happy to see the client's selection live on. Thanks Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital for choosing DMMD and taking good care of my buddy.

Here’s a unique and fun design project we recently completed.

A client donated to Summit County, Colorado’s Open Spaces & Trails conservation program, to create educational site signage about beavers and their important role in the ecosystem as a keystone species. They asked us to design the sign, and they were so pleased with the finished product, they donated another sign for an additional site.

We always love seeing our work “in the wild,” and hope visitors to these sites find them interesting, educational, and a little entertaining.

And if they don't like 'em... we don't give a dam. 😉🦫

Some identities sit still. This one refused to.

For Houston artist Vivian Wise - once described as "like Mary Poppins at Burning Man" - we started with a series of collages - combining elements from her paintings, ceramics, photography, and poetry - into a set of still compositions that became the foundation of her visual identity. Then we set them in motion.

The result is the reel that now opens vivianwise.art: those same collages, animated, so the first thing you meet is the range of an artist who works in paint, clay, words, and sound - all at once.

Art in motion. Identity as experience.

When a life-long friend and his business partner decided to make the leap from employees to entrepreneurs, we were happy to take the call.

With more than 30 years’ experience and an already established and sterling reputation in the Oil & Gas Industry, they wanted a brand that read as simultaneously professional, industrial, and bold. And they wanted a mark that would stand out in the oilfield or the boardroom – and on the golf course!

Meet Stryker Well Solutions.

Over 29 years in business, it’s always remarkable and satisfying to see how many of our clients have become great friends, and how many friends have become clients.

When you’re ready to make the next big leap, whether it’s establishing a new venture or rethinking an existing brand, give us a call. We’ll treat you like an old friend, and more than likely you’ll end up one – if you aren’t already.

We at DMMD are true and proud Texans to our core, so we’ve loved every opportunity to work with the Washington On The Brazos Historical Foundation. After creating identities, invitation packages, collateral and social assets for their annual Sundown Social fundraising event and Juneteenth Celebrations the past few years, we were very pleased to be asked to update the design of the brochure for the Washington On The Brazos State Historic Site earlier this year.

Located on 293 acres of lush park land, the picturesque Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site gives visitors unique insights into the lives and times of the 59 delegates who met on that very spot on March 2, 1836 to make a formal declaration of independence from Mexico.

Following an epic $57 million renovation and reopening in November of last year, attendance is projected to increase by about 34% from 90,000 to more than 120,000 visitors per year.

Learn all about the Historic Site and Foundation at WhereTexasBecameTexas.org.

Then, let us know how DMMD can help bring your brand story to life.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend to celebrate our independence this weekend, let us take a moment to remember the reason behind the celebration, and to never take our freedoms for granted. Have a Safe and Happy Fourth of July!

DMMD is Celebrating 29 Years of Work... In Progress.

Today, DMMD celebrates 29 years in business. A long time for sure, but not a number people typically make a big deal over. It’s not 30. But to us it’s certainly worth noting for what it is – another step in our journey, and a chance to celebrate what we do and what we are – Work… In Progress.

Because if there’s one thing nearly 30 years of creative work (across parts of four decades) has taught us, it’s that the most interesting projects – the most interesting companies, the most interesting people, the most interesting stories – are never really complete. They’re always in progress. Always building toward something more.

That's what this anniversary is about for us.

Building a creative agency from the ground up, keeping it growing, relevant, and doing (we like to think) great work for this long is no small feat. We started with a blueprint, and a belief that creativity, applied with intention, could help businesses grow – and make a difference. 29 years later, that belief hasn’t changed, but nearly everything else has.

We’ve watched the industry transform around us – tools, platforms, channels, the very definition of what it means to communicate – and we’ve transformed with it. We’ve added capabilities we couldn’t have imagined when we started. We’ve learned new skills, adopted new technologies, and more than once torn things nearly all the way down to the foundation and rebuilt – better, stronger, more resilient and relevant than before.

That foundation – our core belief in creativity with purpose – has never shifted, never cracked. And while everything built on it continues to grow and evolve, the earnest desire to keep learning, moving, and improving is what keeps us a work in progress.

Like the many and wide variety of clients we’ve had the pleasure and good fortune to work with over the past 29 years – from Fortune 500’s and Emerging Mid-Caps to Non-Profits, Start Ups, Mom & Pops, and Everyday Entrepreneurs – businesses that are evolving, brands that are being built, ideas that are being shaped and shaping the world around them, we are still becoming what we’re going to be. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for being part of the work!
{Let us know what we can do for you next.}

Here's a great opportunity for all designers out there looking for a creative outlet and a way to contribute to our country and community.

AIGA has announced the Call for Entries for the 2026 Get Out The Vote poster campaign.

https://www.aiga.org/membership-community/design-for-democracy

This project first started in 2000, and that year they selected a few examples from all of the submissions to be printed and distributed around the country, and DMMD was proud to be among the entries selected. Our little agency was only 3 years old back then, and to see our work in a collection alongside designs by the likes of Stefan Sagemeister, Lucille Tenazas, Kit Hinrichs, D.J. Stout, Charles Anderson, Stephen Doyle, and other design luminaries, and published by Adobe, George magazine and others, was very proud moment.

So, put on your patriotic thinking caps and get to work!

Oh - you wanna see our 2000 entry - check it out in the Etcetera portfolio of our soon-to-be-redesigned website:
