UNDERTOW $135
Got another one ready to go.
The Undertow is built around a PT2399 delay chip, with the topology heavily inspired by the Mid Fi Electronics Pitch Pirate Deluxe.
This thing is just flat out fun.
It can do warped delay, nasty pitch movement, strange modulation, seasick textures, broken record type sounds, and plenty of weird stuff in between. You can keep it somewhat under control, or turn the k***s and let it completely fall apart.
And with the right settings, it can actually be very musical too. There are some really cool subtle modulation and delay sounds hiding in it when you dial it back. So it can go from usable, musical movement all the way into complete warped out insanity.
It is definitely not a clean, polished digital delay. The PT2399 is being pushed around on purpose, and that is where a lot of the character comes from.
If you like weird pedals, noise, ambient stuff, experimental sounds, or just want something that does not sound like every other pedal on your board, the Undertow is a good one.
