My Mermaid is finally done! Based on Melusine of European Mythology. She one of three daughters, to a human father and fairy mother. After her cruel deeds, she had done to her father. The mother had cursed her to transform in a mermaid/ serpent tail creature on every Saturday. Warning her that if any man were to see her in this form, she turn into a full fledge beast permanently.

Really cutting it close this time with trying to finish within the May 😅 Time had got the better of me this month, with other things going on as well as lacking motivation at times.

Anywho, hope you enjoy my take on my first Mermaid. Would definitely want to explore it again, for another time. My next project will be something different to my usual theme of mythical beasts so far. More to come in June! Till then, stay creative my friend 🤗🎨

Finally getting around to finishing my mermaid project. There’s more details I plan on adding but hopefully, will have this done in this merry month of May! Please ignore her very baked appearance, It’s just a natural occurrence from the multiple pre-baking I have done 😅

Unicorn is done! Complete with a fountain and floral base. Known for its grace, purity and magical attributes. Thought to have the ability to purify tainted water and cure illnesses, with the source of its powers coming from its magnificent horn. Hope you all had a nice Easter and enjoying this spring season 🦄💐⛲️

Happy Friday! I’ve been waiting on pieces to dry before assembling as well as fixing some paint jobs that didn’t come out as well as I had hoped. So here’s another look of my finished sculpt for now. Hoping to share the finished piece real soon 😁🦄💐

Time to set the stage. Found this awesome grassy base during one of my thrifty discoveries. Incorporating this was my intention from the start my current project. Added some UV resin to create a water effect on a toy fountain and sculpted a fancy collar. Adding all the little details are my simple joys in life 🤩😌

Alas, we have a face! Sculpting the head tends to be one of my favorite parts of the process. Now on to making all the “hairy” details to really bring this character to life.

It’s finally April, and new things are in the works. Here’s a sneak peek of one of my many creations I got going on. General shape is complete and I can finally get to doing my favorite part, adding all the fine details 😁 More to come later.

Just wanted to share some better shots of the texture work I did when sculpting the face. Also a rough concept sketch I did before starting this project and new updates.

When I say rough, I mean bad haha. I loved drawing before, but nowadays I only seem to have enough motivation to scribble something, just to get my ideas down. Leaving me with pages full of half finished, napkin type doodles 😅

That’s all for now till my next project that’s currently in the works. Spring is finally here, so my creature could be spring related or inspired but we shall see. Stay tune for more in April!

Here he is! My take on Mothman! This project turn out to be way more work then I had initially though. As annoying as the set backs I had were, I’m really thrilled with the end result. Even used fur for the first time and probably won’t ever do again for awhile 😅 My video process on how I created him is now live on YouTube. Link to my channel is in my bio.
