Level 2 & 3 training with the Metropolitan Police, and a big milestone in the Android CPU class: Andy completed his first successful CPU transfer 👏

On a later attempt he used the lab's advanced X-ray machine to spot solder balls bridged together under the CPU. Porcupine tool, a little heat, solder separated, and another successful transfer on the board.

This is what Level 3 is really about: seeing the problem, then knowing how to fix it.

We have seen many iPhone 16 pro max that have motherboard damage to the display circuit. This case has some twists and turns and is really interesting. It happened while charging during a thunderstorm.

We are seeing more charger damage than ever these days.

Here's a Samsung s21FE with a charge ic fried so intensely that it actually has burn marks on the chip!

You can avoid this by using chargers and charging cables that are UL listed with good build quality, like the zutBe cables sold at our shop.
