In the wake of the tragic events in Nashville, Uvalde, and Winder, we have learned that in an emergency, every second counts. In the age of mass shootings, being prepared is key. Whether it is routine, day-to-day messaging around campus or a critical emergency, having a plan and using clear and concise communication throughout the process will greatly impact outcomes. Our team just wrapped up one of our latest PA projects at Calhoun Career Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. This facility received a new Telecor paging system. This new system allowed for the removal of outdated analog equipment. The new Telecor system is connected to the school's network allowing staff to send daily events/messages through the eMH Message Host. Additionally, the team installed paging horns for additional coverage in student workspaces with heavy machinery.

ePanic is a newly developed mobile duress button that provides your staff with the ability to initiate an emergency alert from any location in a facility. The alert location will be displayed and once received, will invoke two-way communication between the closest network speaker and the console. ePanic seamlessly integrates with the facility’s existing eSeries network eliminating the need for third-party support infrastructures.
