SUMMARY
AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) has an immediate need for an Order Processing Manager who will lead a team of 4. Incumbents in this position will manage, plan, organize, and oversee the activities of personnel in order-writing and process master orders used by production, shipping, invoicing, and finance departments. Also responsible for planning and developing procedures, systems, and methods using knowledge of company products and pricing methods. Will be responsible for assigned aspects of the Account Management Service (AMS) process and for Customer Service coordination across the company. This role will provide support for Technical Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Development, and Production Control, to provide quotes, the status of deliveries, and other pertinent information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for all aspects of the Account Management Service process and function.
-Responsible for timely, accurate, and efficient order entry in order to expedite lead time.
-Responsible for communications about order status, and for Delivery Coordination,
-Manages coordination with Customer Relationship Managers, other Business Development and Headquarters personnel, as well as with customers.
-Collaborate with other AGC managers to resolve various problems in operations within defined internal practices and policies and procedures.
-Responsible for the function’s continuous improvement initiatives.
-Study, plan and implement highly automated and more efficient methods to the daily operations while maintaining the daily output and interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
-Effectively communicate lead-time and delivery by coordination work with the Production Team.
-Production Control and Customer Relationship Managers, and customers. Resolve production scheduling, shipping of invoicing issues as needed
-Import/Export Document coordination and record retention by working with the controller as needed.
-Integrate and maintain critical AMS processes in the company ERP system. These include sales-related activities such as quotation, order entry, order confirmation, and account invoicing as needed
-Manage AMS Team, including job definition, hiring, performance management, team building, and training.
-Participate with senior management to develop AMS to meet the organization's growth.
-Other Activities
-Facilitate Customer Satisfaction Survey Program.
-Act as ISO Internal Auditor when assigned.
-Responsible to perform all the above duties while demonstrating competence in delivering results, thinking analytically, communicating and managing people, time, and resources effectively, using good judgment, enhancing our reputation through exemplary customer focus, and modeling and preserving our corporate values.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree, 2 – 4 years management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
-Requires protective safety apparel when on the manufacturing floor.
-Willing and able to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and complete special projects.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines for the completion of projects.
Office environment
-Possible travel, less than 10%
