Another successful repair completed

Saved this blue HP Stream 11 from getting scraped. Client brought it in with two problems: it wouldn't stay powered on for a second without the charger and was stuck in a Windows automatic repair loop.

After receiving it, I:
• Swapped out the dead internal battery for a brand new one
• Cleared up the software corruption causing the boot loop
• Detailed the laptop inside and out to clean up the shell
• Ran full diagnostics on charging, boot cycles, and system stability

Now the machine:
• Boots directly to the desktop with zero errors
• Runs perfectly fine off the cord with a 100% healthy battery
• Is fully responsive and ready to use

A successful repair completed ✅💻

This HP ProBook x360 11 came in wouldn't stay on unless it was on the charger and stuck in a Windows automatic repair loop.

After diagnosis, I:
• Reinstalled Windows with a fresh clean install
• Replaced the battery after finding it would not hold a charge
• Fully cleaned the laptop inside and out
• Tested charging, boot, and overall system functionality

Now the laptop:
✔ Boots straight into Windows with no issues
✔ Charges normally and holds charge at 100%
✔ Touchscreen works
✔ Fully functional and ready to use

Client reached out today with an HP laptop that stopped powering on after liquid damage and later started smoking when it was tried again.

After looking into the model, I found it still has an active HP hardware coverage through 2027, which they hadn’t realized.

Before spending money on repairs or selling it for cheap, they’re going to check with HP first to see what options they have.

Not every situation is just “fix or sell.” Sometimes it’s just about understanding what you actually have and making the right next move.
