Dysfunctional families often struggle with accountability. A narcissistic parent will not tolerate having their behavior called out. The responses will almost always be defensive and minimize your frustrations, experiences, and any pain they may have caused.

Anything you say to a narcissist can, and will be, used against you. This means any response you have needs to be well articulated, factual, and contain zero emotion.

Narcissistic people usually have a very predictable routine of manipulating, gaslighting, and humiliating you back into submission. They will twist facts to make you look worse than their behavior made them appear.

You cannot win an argument with a narcissist, so you have to stop giving them someone to argue with. Arm yourself by practicing a few of these replies, based on what you have already learned and can now predict.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but...

Sibling abuse is one of the most overlooked forms of family violence.

It often stems from dysfunctional family dynamics and can be perpetuated by the silence or enabling of other family members. This toxic family dynamic doesn't end after childhood. The abusive sibling may grow up with no sense of accountability or empathy.

It might look like verbal abuse through insults, demeaning comments, mockery, or belittling your choices. It might look like emotional abuse through gaslighting, manipulation, guilt-trips, conditional love, or invalidating your emotions. It might look like physical abuse, which includes threats. Or it might look like psychological abuse as they undermine your confidence, isolate you in your family dynamic, scapegoat you, and make you feel shame for all of it.

Abusive adult siblings often lack empathy. Even weaponizing your sensitivity against you, knowing it will inflict the most pain and cause the most damage.

The victims often grow up with complex trauma and have difficulty trusting others, fear of conflict, low self-worth, and feelings of shame.

LET'S BE CLEAR...
You are not overreacting.
You are not too sensitive.
You are not imagining it.
You are not obligated to keep toxic family ties at the expense of your own mental health. REPEAT THAT!

If you spiral after raising your voice …
If you feel guilt for reacting, but are overwhelmed in the moment …

…you’re not a bad parent.

Because when emotional expression wasn’t welcome in your own childhood, it makes sense that your body reacts when your child expresses theirs.

And that’s not personal. It’s patterned.

The good news is patterns aren’t permanent. They can be rewired with practice with tools and with self compassion.

the company name is not what is on the outgoing shipping information, why?
There is no bath bomb, facial lotion, or skin care lotion in this package, why would you label it that way?
Have you read the statement below the false product list? Are you aware this is fraud?
If the product value is $6.13, why are you charging $64.87 for the contents?
this feels like a and I am very hesitant to try this product. Of course there is no free return or even affordable return option because it has to go back to China. There is NOTHING on your website stating that this is a product from China. Why?

I made it, I’m here.
And I just have a feeling that this is my year.
I’m done with those who do not support me.
I’m done with those who have ignored me.
I’m done with defending myself & my actions.
I’m done with gaslighting all my reactions.
I’m done with the feelings I’ve pushed down for years.
I’m done with opinions, and just so we’re clear…
I am a grown up, and this is my life.
I am a good mom, and I am a good wife.
I may not be well traveled or even well read.
I don’t work out much and I like to eat bread!
I’m always sarcastic & I might be late.
My room is a mess & my nose is not straight.
I like to sing, even when I’m off tune,
And I don’t think we ever went to the moon.
Some days I am ditzy & some days I cry.
I’m human, not perfect, He knows I try.
You think you can do this better than me? You think I care if you judge what you can’t be?
I’m too busy for bu****it.
I’m too real for fake.
Life is not fair, so give me a break!
Stay in my life and accept me for me.
Or this year I invite you to kindly leave.
Leave me alone & my name out your mouth.
Stay away from my family, don’t come to my house!
I’ve been too tolerant, I’ve put up with too much.
