Dentist SEO cheat code 👀

Here are the first two things to look at if your ads aren't bringing in new patients. Most dentists respond to bad ads by throwing more budget at them, and that just makes the same problem more expensive. The first one, if your click through rate is low, the problem is your ad. Nobody's clicking it, which means it's not saying anything that makes someone stop. It could be the writing, it could be the offer, or it could be that Google is putting you in front of the wrong people entirely. If you're a general dentist showing up for oral surgeon searches, that's a targeting problem, not an ad problem. Now if your click through rate is high but nobody's calling, the ad is usually fine. The problem is the page they land on. People are clicking, which means the ad promised something they wanted. Then they got to your site and something made them leave. So look at that page. Based on what someone clicked, is that the first heading they see when they come to the page? Is the phone number the first thing they see, or do they have to scroll for it? Is there a form sitting where a phone number should be? Are there reviews on the page, or do they have to go find them? Do you show before and afters, financing, the insurances you take? If you think the page is fine, make it better anyway. Test things. And do not start dropping your prices until you've tried everything else. Most of the time you don't need a cheaper offer, you need a better page. So that's it, don't overcomplicate this. Low click through rate is the ad. High click through rate with no calls is the page.

if you're a dentist with a website, Google might never see some of your pages. and Most never check this, they just assume that if the page loads, Google will see it. But Here's how to check in about thirty seconds. Go to your website and pull up one of those pages. for this dentists, lets say its this blog post. Copy the URL from the top of the browser. Now go to Google and type site colon and paste that URL right after it. If the page comes back, you're fine, Google has it. If you get nothing, that page doesn't exist as far as Google is concerned. Now here's how to fix it. Go to your website and go to the page, you just copied - right click and press view page source and press command F and look up "noindex" if you see something l ike no index, no follow - that means that page on the website is blocked. youll need to speak to your developr to fix this, as this can cause real issues to your seo however if you dont see that, you are going to go int into Google Search Console for your website and paste that same URL into the search bar at the very top. That's the URL inspection tool. It'll tell you the exact status, and if it's not indexed, you press Request Indexing. That happens when the page is thin or reads like every other page on the internet. A lot of the AI generated service pages people are publishing right now land here. Google crawls them, sees nothing original, and moves on. So if you're publishing pages with AI, you have to add something only your practice can say. Your actual process, your cases, your financing, your location details. Otherwise you're just adding pages Google will never count. DM me if you need any help!

The real reason you only book cleanings is easier to spot than you think. Most dentists they just blame the area. They say patients around here can't afford anything . maybe they say the Market's too saturated. but that is rarely ever it. Look at what you're putting in front of people. Homepage says family dentistry. Ad says new patient special, cleaning and exam. Google profile says general dentist. Every signal is a cleaning signal. So that's ultimately who calls. You're fishing with the wrong bait and blaming the lake. Someone who is thinking about implants isn't normally searching dentist near me. They're searching what it costs and whether they're even a candidate. its a different search, andd a , much slower decision. If you have no page answering it, no testimonials, no case studies You're not in the conversation at all. it is the same story with Invisalign, veneers, sedation. Anything with a real price on it. The way you get cleaning patients and the way you get higher ticket patients are very different strategies.. so you're not losing those cases. You were never being seen for them in the first place DM me if you want help.

Super easy local SEO tool for dentists

If this dentist changes one thing on his Google profile, he might move up like five positions. And this is how you know if you need to. Go to your target search and look at the map results for you compared to your competitors. In this case, every single practice above him has Tempe right in the name. His doesn't. Believe it or not, the business name is one of the biggest factors in the map pack. So much so that practices will file a DBA, a doing business as, just to get their city or their service into the name legally. And it works. Google reads that name as a direct match for what someone just searched. Now your name has to match your real world signage to stay compliant. So this isn't something you fake in the dashboard. But if your legal name can include your city, that's one of the fastest moves you can make in the map pack. If you want a free audit for your practice, DM me.

You don't need more reviews than the dentist down the street. You need them faster. And this is one of the reasons a practice with forty reviews can outrank one with two hundred. Google isn't just counting your reviews. It's watching how fast they come in and how recently. A pile of reviews from three years ago tells Google you were busy back then. Ten new ones this month tell Google you're the practice people are going to right now. That's the signal it wants to put in front of searchers. So if you've been staring at a competitor's two hundred reviews thinking you'll never catch up, don't try to beat their total overnight. You're trying to beat their pace. The practice getting reviews every week wins, even when the other guy has a bigger number sitting still. So set up a system that asks every happy patient, right there at the chair, before they walk out. Reviews won't fix everything, but this is a huge piece that most dentists miss.
