Today was the delivery of Serial Number C-0004, “Nehushtan”!

I’m so excited to have completed this project after many design review sessions, hours of assembly, play testing, and burn-in! This was my first experience with a “Marshall style” circuit, and was a real joy to discover, learn from, and modify.

Thank you to for their British Small Box Head and 2X12 Lite American cabinets, thank you to for the custom machined front and rear faceplates, and thank you to Heyboer Transformers for the custom transformers.

This second addition to my standard catalog is an upgraded reissue of a coveted Fender Rhodes preamp! This 2 pound stereo preamp was designed using a genuine 1974 unit for reference and utilizes the same light bulb tremolo as the original circuit, only rebuilt with modern components, and includes features not found in the original. This will take any mono instrument input, split to stereo, and the tremolo will sweep across the channels. The unit features both front and rear outputs which automatically reroute the signal when jacks are inserted. The unit also features common footswitch access for hands-free tremolo enable for ease of live performance. The cost of this unit is $650, and the footswitch is an additional $50. Technical and cosmetic customization is available, pricing determined by consultation. Please reach out with any questions or ideas!

One of the most exciting moments of a project is when the parts arrive and only the assembly lies ahead!

This amplifier is based on a 1968 Marshall Plexi, modified with features inspired by Eddie Van Halen.

The power transformer is custom wound by Heyboer Transformers to emulate reduced wall voltages without the need for a variac. The faceplates are custom machined from aluminum to mimic the Plexi era, and are the most intricate cosmetic items I’ve produced. The internal circuit card includes features unique to this design only, and were revised extensively to meet the customer’s specifications.
Altogether, this piece will represent my greatest investment of design, revision, and manufacturing to date. It will serve as a powerful musical tool for many years to come!

If you have an idea for a musical accessory, please reach out with questions!

My next custom piece has reached the final phase of wiring! It is always an exciting moment to see the many pieces align and a singular finished product begins to emerge!

This is a 100W head with two separate preamplifiers, one each for Bass and Guitar. The project is affectionately know in-house as the Dual Sideman. It received the moniker for its versatility in the studio and its refurbished chassis, cabinet, and rear faceplate taken from an non-repairable 1968 Fender Dual Showman.

If you have an idea for your perfect amplifier, please reach out by any method at any time!

Thanks for taking your time and stopping by!
