Dear good friend for many years,
I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude and appreciation. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary of serving the Nashville, Middle Tennessee community, our most profound emotion is a heartfelt "thank you" to you.
Five decades is a significant milestone for any business, and we are keenly aware that we could not have reached it without your unwavering support, loyalty, and trust. You are the very foundation of our success.
When our doors first opened in 1974, our goal was simple: to provide quality service after the sale. My father served in the military for over 20 years and this as well as being a Boy Scout leader was his passion. Sad to say Gabriel Sr passed away in 1987 after a long battle of cancer where I decided to keep the company open and follow in his path of quality service after every sale. The internet changed all that in 2000 and sales became a thing of the past, our team didn't mind that a bit since the majority of what we sold were those heavy box style BIG SCREENS. Remember them? So we put all our resources in service where at that time Nashville had very few companies that could repair any high end TV or appliances.
Over the past 50 years as we all know, the community has evolved, technology has changed, and we have grown and adapted alongside you, but our core commitment has remained steadfast.
Your patronage has allowed us to support several children's ball teams, helped the homeless with "Warm Your Brother and Sisters", of 10 years of warm clothing and coats, Make A Wish Foundation for several young children, as well as employ generations of local residents. We have shared in your growth, watched your children grow up and your stories have become part of our own. You have become family.
As I look to the future, and to my age and growing medical issues, I have decided to sell the company to our Service Manager Kristina Tucker who has been with Gabe's for several years and is very knowable in the appliance service business. She with her husband Aaron has formed Tucker Appliances and now is providing the same quality service with several of the same staff to the middle Tennessee area. I have worked with the manufactures and Tucker Appliances over the past two years to make sure there would be a smooth transition where you the customer will still get your warranty work repaired in a timely fashion. Tucker Appliance is more committed than ever to serving you with the same dedication and community spirit that has guided us since day one. Tucker Appliance is excited about what the next chapter holds and are eager to continue being your trusted partner for many years to come.
