As cable and phone companies rush to impose restrictive data limits on internet service, apparently in an attempt to ward off customers leaving, due to the campaign, SPACEX (perhaps playing a LORD STANLEY) rushes into the latest battle of the Cable War.

Will this be a game changer?

SpaceX's satellite internet broadband service is expanding by leaps and bounds -- and leaping across borders.

Is the era of "unlimited streaming internet" coming to an end? If so, be prepared are the cable companies holding its customers hostage?

Adding data caps and charging customers seems like a bad strategy when we're all stuck working at home.

IS UNLIMITED INTERNET available permanently? HINT: It UI goes away, so will your ability to steam...at least without paying hefty overage charges.


Next year, Comcast will start charging Xfinity customers in northeastern US states overage fees for exceeding their monthly data cap. As The Verge reports, customers not on an unlimited plan who exceed 1.2 TB of data in a month will have to pay $10 for every 50 GB of data they go over, topping out at $100.

Comcast announces new, and arbitrary, 1.2 TB data caps for customers in the northeast. Because who doesn't love unfettered greed.
