In 2010, Gap replaced its familiar blue-box logo with a new design. Customers were… less than thrilled. About a week later, the old logo was back. 😬

The lesson? Your logo might mean more to your customers than you realize. Before changing it, understand what people recognize, what they love, and what you’re actually trying to improve.

We love a good brand refresh—but “we’re tired of looking at it” isn’t a strategy.
