Scammer talk. If you notice, almost all of our pictures use the same background, our kitchen counter. Occasionally we will have something that’s a tad different and if so, it’s usually our floor. Real fancy eh? The countertop is nothing special-in fact it’s one of the in stock off the “shelf” options from Lowe’s. So theoretically anyone else selling radios could also have the same backgrounds. However it is rather unlikely.
It’s no secret scammers have become very popular in the online social media sales game. Plenty of times these loosers have taken our pictures-logo or not- and sometimes our exact post & used them as their own. Almost daily we get messages of “Hey aren’t these your pictures?” Yes, yes they are. Sometimes they don’t even AI remove our logo. Many of these deals are too good to be true & unfortunately have caught many victims. They’ve even created groups and will have multiple accounts supporting each other. If you report them? Well the admin is a scammer too & they’ll just ban you. If a seller you’ve never worked with before immediately asks you to pay by wire, ACH transfer, Venmo, Zelle, friends & family, etc or ways that do not protect you as the buyer, run.
It hurts when I’ve received calls from small volunteer departments as I started with who sent someone a wire expecting new radios, only to instead receive a blocked contact.
All that to say, do your due diligence. See our pics elsewhere, call them out. They may block you but before they do, maybe someone else will see your comment. I’m not a social media pro, I don’t do toktik, I barely do the Insta, and I spend way too much time on FB Marketplace. So don’t expect to see us throwing up videos anytime in the near future. Ain’t nobody here got time for that.
