Every once in a while while updating Cairs on DOD networks you will get an error trying to run CEDC. This can be resolved by disabling FIPS in the Local Security Policy of the application/web server Once you can connect to CEDC on the server you should be able to verify that a Cairs client can also connect through CEDC. After these are verified you re-enable FIPS on the server.
