Happy Paper Tuesday, and happy anniversary to all of you! While it may not be your anniversary, it is ours, and we’re happy to share the day with you. It has been exactly two years since we took over the papers. Although the journey has been challenging, we are grateful to be here and thankful that you are here with us.

It's always nice to receive a heartfelt compliment. We are excited to work with this new group that has recently started up. We appreciate their commitment to shopping local, especially since they are operating with a limited budget for advertising and getting their message out. They could have chosen to go online for a cheaper deal, but instead, they opted to support a local business that also supports our communities. If you get a chance, take some time and visit the Mason County Fair and help support our youth. While you're out, make sure you grab your Mason County Democrat, where you'll find out all about the Gold Award at MDH, Manito's Market promises food and fun, cold lemonade and sweet fashions, and in honor of the 4-H fair, you'll learn how a farm can grow a pizza with Ag in the Class.
