“Ma’am did you know you’re driving around with a 30-year expired tag?” said the Hattiesburg policeman that pulled me over last year. 🤣

He had not run the tag first because he didn’t know about these Historic Tags! It was just this glaringly out-of-date tag to him. (He was very nice, by the way!)

I politely said, “No, sir, I’m not. Let me show you my paperwork.” And then I asked him to take a picture of said paperwork to share with his fellow officers!

I haven’t gotten pulled over since that last time. But I think I’m up to three times total. 🤣

🎉 I’m celebrating this Historic Tag fun fact today! 🎉

These historic tags are one of my favorite things about driving our old cars. How cool that even the tag is vintage!

My “tag guy”, Mr. Dave, tells me that LAMAR county tags are getting very hard to come by. I’m glad we have secured one for all our current vehicles. We are set for now. And I don’t see any “new” ones coming anytime soon. 😭🤣 We have two broncos to finish — and now an antique tractor that has arrived in our lives.

I am SO EXCITED about this! (I know I say that about EVERYTHING but I guess I just stay excited 🤣). I’ll have tea towels, cards, and prints for sale AND you’ll also have the opportunity to see my recipe towels in person 💛 AND 💛 bring your treasured recipe cards, poems, children’s art, etc., to order your own keepsakes.

All of my tea towels make the *BEST* gifts and these recipe tea towels are NEXT LEVEL. I have customers that buy them for everyone in the family. 🥰 Here are all the details:

💗 HOW IT WORKS 💗
• If you can come to Accents, bring your treasured item and I will personally take photos so that you can keep it in your care!
• Fill out a short order form and submit payment (see pricing details below).
• Within 1 week, I will get graphics/images ready for your tea towel order and send you a proof sheet for approval.
• Every towel will include a hard copy card to coordinate with the towel - making the gift even better!

💗 TURNAROUND TIME 💗
• After ordering, I need about a week to get your proof sheet ready.
• After approval, towels have about a 1.5 weeks turnaround time.
• All-in-all, turnaround time is about 2.5 weeks after order is placed.

💗 DEADLINE FOR HOLIDAY GIFTING 💗
• If you’re unable to come to Accents, towels can be ordered on my website @ missioncelebrate.com (find my link tree in my bio for a direct link to the listing).
• I can take orders through Monday, November 30th, for guaranteed holiday delivery.

💗 PRICING 💗
• First towel is $25 and includes any cleanup I do + any art I draw and add to the design.

🎉 Celebrating an antique tractor? 🎉

🩵 YEP! We went after an antique tractor today, as one does. 🤣♥️ So this is the next project in a long line of projects that we have on the horizon.

🩵 C restored another tractor years ago and I documented it so I could put together a photo album for his dad. That tractor was just like the tractor C’s dad would drive at a farm he worked at growing up. And that was an old tractor! But THIS ONE IS OLDER!

🩵 This gem is 76-years-old and in really great shape. But it must go back to the color it would have been originally - light gray.

🩵 It’s a 1951 Ferguson TO-20

🩵 C told me all kinds of fun facts about this tractor this morning as we drove to get it. Very interesting stuff and how cool is it to find a relic like this and not just let it rust away — but restore it to like-new condition?

🩵 Now I’m off to try to find the picture he says exists of him @ about 8 or 10-years-old beside his Granny’s tractor. Life is good. 😊🙌🏻♥️

Celebrating this book is easy! 🎉 I’m so grateful I got to listen to the audio of The Bright Side of The Other Side by Sara McDaniel of Simply Southern Cottage - read by Sara herself. Have you read or listened to it yet?

💛💗💛 I get distracted SO easily while listening to things so I’ve not ever completed an audio book. I found Sara’s voice easy to listen to and I didn’t get distracted. I will be reading the physical pages, also, now that my book is in my hands. I want to remember some specific things so I’ll highlight as I read.

💛💗💛 I highly recommend this book — for someone to put their whole story out there for the purpose of encouraging and helping others is remarkable to me. It’s a message about hope and restoration.

💛💗💛 I just *love* the cover, too! The way the pink and yellow work together is lovely. Hint (but not a spoiler): that yellow door is symbolic!

💛💗💛 Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💛💗💛 Last note - I have some art I’ll be able to share soon that I’ll always think of Sara’s book in relation to because I was drawing some very tedious details as I listened.

I have asked about where she gets her dresses on a few of Leanne’s posts before but with several thousand comments, I bet they never got seen. 😱😭 But maybe Leanne Morgan or one of her daughters will see this and help me out! 🥰🤣

I’m gonna be celebrating on the wedding day in the dress I already love that I already have in hand — or in somethin a little more colorful if I find the right one. Either way, I’ll be so happy! 🎉 Please tag Leanne in the comments for me so maybe she will see this. 🎉 Her dresses are THE CUTEST!! I already have one long dress that is kinda the style she sometimes wears and it’s become my favorite dress (but it’s a spring-summer dress). Wedding day is in mid November!

This invitation was a very special one for a bridal brunch Commander's Palace in New Orleans. They do these colorful balloon centerpieces on the tables at their jazz brunch and that's what will be done at the bridal brunch, too! That's what inspired me to do these envelope liners. The invitations I can show later and they are beautiful!
